Eloise Gaudet
President
Eloise Gaudet is a Junior studying Computer Science with an accelerated masters in Bioengineering. She is the current President of PEC and was previously the co-Vice President of the Professional Development Committee. Eloise's favorite part about PEC is how it's made her feel even more connected with the larger engineering community. Outside of academics, she enjoys cooking and baking for friends, yoga, and reading.
Yashna Gupta
Executive Vice President
Yashna Gupta is a junior studying bioengineering with a minor in Data Science. She is the current Vice President of PEC and was previously on both the Academic Mentorship and Marketing Committees. Outside of academics, she enjoys watching murder mysteries, reading, and exploring cafes in Philly.
Andreea Rusu
Chair of Professional Development
Andreea Rusu is a sophomore studying Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. She is PEC’s current Professional Development Committee Chair. She enjoys helping her peers grow professionally and supporting them as they navigate new opportunities. Andreea is a Penn Quaker Girls Dance Team Member, a USSF & NISOA Soccer Referee, and a VEX Robotics alum. Outside of academics, she enjoys traveling, skiing, and spending time with her friends.
Esha Lohiya
Co-Chair of Academic Mentorship
Esha Lohiya is a sophomore studying Computer Science and Mathematics. She currently serves as Co-Vice President of PEC’s Academic Mentorship Committee. Outside of PEC, Esha is involved with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and is a CIS 1200 Teaching Assistant. Outside of academics, Esha enjoys exploring Philly and trying new restaurants, running, doing puzzles, and spending time with her younger sister.
Edwynn Wang
Co-Chair of Academic Mentorship
Edwynn Wang is a sophomore studying Bioengineering on the pre-med track with a minor in Chemistry. He is currently a co-chair for the Academic Mentorship Committee. Outside of PEC, he conducts research at the Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Lab and is part of the Alt Protein Project. In his free time, he enjoys watching Detroit sports, working out, and doing anything outdoors.
Anshi Aggarwal
Chair of Finance
Anshi Aggarwal is a sophomore from Singapore studying Computer Science & Finance in the M&T Program. She is the current VP of Finance for PEC and this is her third semester in PEC. Outside of PEC, Anshi is also involved in WUCC, Wharton Women and M&T Innovation Fund. In her free time, you can find her trying new restaurants for Beli, going to concerts, shopping in center city or swimming.
Yifan Zhai
Co-Chair of Internal
Yifan Zhai is a sophomore studying Bioengineering, on the pre-med track. She is currently Internal co-chair and was previously a member of the Professional Development Committee. Outside of PEC, she is involved in Biomedical Engineering Society, Access Engineering, and Penn Club Swim. She conducts research in the Bugaj Lab, engineering synthetic protein circuits that target oncogenic clusters, and volunteers at the VA Medical Center. In her free time, Yifan enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and exploring center city with friends.
Eliana Pasternak
Co-Chair of Internal
Eliana Pasternak is a junior studying Artificial Intelligence with a minor in Engineering Entrepreneurship. She's the current co-chair of internal for PEC and has been on the marketing committee and the professional development committee in past semesters. Outside of PEC, Eliana works part-time at an AI start-up in the lighting industry and is involved with the Penn Songwriters Collective, Alexander Hamilton Society, and Jewish life at Penn. In her free time, Eliana enjoys playing guitar, running, and reading.
Sam Wang
Chair of Technology
Sam is a junior studying Artificial Intelligence and is the Chair of Technology of PEC. Outside of PEC, Sam is an EDAB board member and does research at GRASP Lab. In his free time, he enjoys running, playing basketball, and reading. A fun fact about him is that he is a diehard Minnesota Vikings fan despite being born and raised near Philly.
